BIOGRAPHY
Loraine Mohar b.1984

Loraine grew up in Ontario Canada, residing in both downtown Toronto and Hamilton. The self taught artist was initially drawn to music but switched to visual art after realizing how perfectly the medium catered to her introverted nature.
From her first series she has been showing in galleries such as Patel Brown, Black Cat, Hashtag, Elaine Fleck, Hamilton Artists Inc, as well as being part of the Art Gallery of Ontario’s sales and rental program. She frequently shows at popular art fairs such as The Artist Project, Rosedale Art Fair and the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.
Her brand of whimsical, inquisitive and delicate collage art lends itself well to design and after teaming up with wallpaper company Fine & Dandy, produced a unique floral collection that has been featured in Apartment Therapy, the Toronto Star and Fashion Magazine.
She is currently working on a new series for an upcoming show called ‘Pieced Together’ at the beautiful Glenhyrst Gallery and will be showing at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair summer 2023.
